How to visit Al Noor Island, Sharjah

Al Noor Island is a beautiful place on the Khalid Lagoon, opposite to the Al Majaz Waterfront. So you can directly visit the island by crossing a little bridge from the Al Noor mosque.

One thing you must remember is that this is a popular tourist spot, so the area is mostly traffic-clogged. So finding a parking spot can be difficult, especially on weekends. We recommend you take a cab and then walk from the King Faisal mosque.

Important Things to Keep in Mind

  • Al Noor Island is open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; however, it closes at midnight on weekends.
  • According to us, the best time to visit here is in the morning between 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the evening.
  • To avoid the crowds, try to visit the island on weekdays.
  • Al Noor Island is a privately owned island and is only open to the public from April to October.
  • If you plan to visit this island paradise, you can book the tickets and some activities in advance to avoid the seasonal rush.
