UAE citizens and residents who have received two COVID-19 vaccines are now permitted entry

to 15 plus countries across Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe and America. Yes, the majority of these destinations have started welcoming people, provided they are (mostly) double jabbed. So if you have got both your inoculations and are considering international travel, here is a list of countries where you can travel from the UAE while skipping the cumbersome entry procedures.

Asia

1.  The Maldives: A vacationer’s favourite, Maldives is now open for tourism. UAE residents can visit Maldives; all they need to do is to submit a negative PCR test (issued within 96 hours of their trip) to enter the country.

2. Thailand: From July, Thailand will allow quarantine-free travel for tourists who have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

3. Seychelles: Seychelles also announced that visitors who have received both shots of vaccines (at least two weeks prior to their intended travel) will be permitted to enter the country.

America

America

4. The USA: You can fly into the US with your evidence of vaccination as well as a negative COVID-19 viral test report that has been taken within not more than three days prior to your travel date.

5. Mexico: As Dubai airlines are in plans to take off flights to Mexico from July 2nd, you can travel to this place quarantine-free, but only with a negative PCR test result.

6. Cyprus: Cyprus allows the vaccinated visitors of certain nations to enter Cyprus quarantine-free and of course without a COVID-19 negative test report. The UAE is one among them.

7. France: This is another country where vaccinated UAE nationals can travel without the need to undergo quarantine. But as the UAE falls under Orange country, it is mandatory for both UAE locals and residents to submit a negative PCR test result.

8. Greece: With the safe travel corridor set up by the UAE and Greece, fully vaccinated visitors can travel to Greece; just be sure to produce the vaccination certificate issued by the Health Authority and further adhere to the country’s rigorous precautionary steps against the pandemic.

Italy: Visitors travelling from the UAE to three airports (Fiumicino Rome, Venice Marco Polo and Milan Malpensa) in Italy can enter the country without any restriction (but make sure that you carry your negative COVID-19 result obtained within 48 hours of travel). Thanks to the bilateral travel corridor established between Italy and the UAE.

10. Russia: To visit Russia from the UAE, you must bring your result of PCR test or antigen rapid test taken within 72 hours of travel. The test reports must be printed in English or Russian. Quarantine is required only if you display any symptoms.

11. Turkey: As Turkey allows UAE nationals and residents to enter the country, the only mandate is to produce your negative PCR test received within 72 hours of travel or a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test received within 48 hours of your travel.

12. Spain: Spain has re-opened its corridor for all travellers who have completed their vaccination (as approved by WHO or European Medicines Agency) at least 14 days before their travel date. You should carry your printed vaccination proof (in English or Spanish) and also show the negative PCR test report taken within 72 hours of your Spain travel.

13. Bahrain: Following the establishment of a safe travel corridor between the UAE and Bahrain, UAE citizens and residents can now travel to the country without the need for quarantine. Simply ensure that you comply with Bahrain’s strict preventive measures against the combat of COVID-19.

14. Egypt: To enter Egypt, UAE travellers have to submit a negative COVID-19 test result that has been obtained within 72 hours of their travel.

15. Jordan: Jordan is open to UAE nationals and citizens for travel. But what is most vital is to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test report that has been issued not more than 72 hours before your departure from the UAE.

16. Lebanon: UAE travellers arriving to Lebanon with proof of receiving two-dose vaccines, at least two weeks before their travel date can enjoy a quarantine-free stay.
