IIFA begins ticket sales for the upcoming award show scheduled to happen at Yas Island’s Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi

IIFA is one of the most prestigious awards functions in the Indian Film Industry, scheduled every year to felicitate the best performances in a year.
IIFA nominates Best Actors, Directors, Writers, Singers, Musicians, and many more categories contributing to making a film.
The last two years were difficult for the global film industry as the pandemic forced lockdown and led to the closures of cinema halls.
Due to this, movie releases were stopped entirely, but still, some production houses released their movies on the OTT platforms and earned some revenues through it.
Another thing that the audience missed during those two years was the exciting award functions. But, now as the theaters are open and films are doing great business, the award shows are back to entertain the audience and felicitate the year’s best performance.
This year IIFA has announced 12 nominations in the popular categories for the films released in 2021. This year’s function is said to be the biggest and grandest ever function to be held as per the reports from sources of the IIFA committee.
