The Sharjah Aquarium is closed on Sunday. The aquarium is open from 8 am to 8 pm on all other days except Fridays. Friday operational hours are between 2 pm and 8 pm.

Entrance fees

The entrance fee for adults is AED 25. The admission fee for children in the age group of 2-12 years is AED 15. Reduced group entry charges for kids, adults, and private school trips are AED 10, 15, and 5, respectively. There are no charges for kids below 2 years, senior citizens above 60, and government school trips.

Group charges are applicable only for a minimum of 6 individuals. The same ticket applies to the Sharjah Aquarium and the Sharjah Museum.

How to reach the Sharjah Aquarium?

A drive via car or taxi is the best and easiest way to reach the Sharjah Aquarium. Although taxis are not the cheapest and most economical way to reach the Sharjah Aquarium, they may be the fastest way to reach there. You can alternatively catch a bus that is economical but time-consuming. For all the residents in Al Khan and Al Qasimia, the aquarium is less than 5- and 10-minutes walk away respectively.

You can take the E1 bus from the Al Jubail Terminal to the Sharjah Aquarium bus station if you are residing in Rolla Area. In addition, you can take a short walk to the Sharjah Aquarium.

Take the ferry service from Dubai to Sharjah if you are traveling from Dubai. The ferry station is just a 5-minute walk to the aquarium.

For the explorers and tourists, you can also catch the Hop-on Hop-off bus tour in Sharjah, where you get a bunch of attractions clubbed together, including the aquarium to spend your day.

Attractions near the Sharjah Aquarium
