The nationalities of the following countries are granted a visa at the country borders or the airport.

Apart from the nationals of the Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) that is UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Bahrain, the nationals of Jordan who are traveling to Lebanon for tourism purpose, along with their family, driver, workers will have their entry stamped at the airport and border. But, this is applicable to only those Jordanians whose passports have a National Number.

The citizens of the following Arab countries and African countries who visit Lebanon for tourism will also be granted a visa at the airport:

Algeria, Comoros Island, Yemen, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia, Iraq / Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria, and Ghana. However, they should satisfy the following criteria:

  • Hotel booking details along with contact information
  • Roundtrip non-refundable ticket
  • The passenger must have 2000 dollars in cash

Citizens of the following countries are granted a visa through the Consulate General of Lebanon.

Things to Know Before You Apply for Lebanon Visa

  • Lebanon visas are valid for 90 days from the date of issue.
  • A Lebanese visa cannot be granted to a passport that has Israeli stamps, seals, or visas.
  • A Lebanese visa is invalid if the passport was eventually stamped with an Israeli seal or visa.
  • The residence validity changes from 15 days to 6 months from the date of entry to Lebanon
