Singapore is popular among globetrotters for numerous reasons. This Asian destination is a petite country, spanning just 734.3 square kilometres. Connected entirely via efficient MRT and public buses, it seamlessly allows you to discover it in a short amount of time. Plus, within this compact country, you will find various Asian ethnic neighbourhoods harmoniously blending with the contemporary skyline. This vibrancy exudes in Singapore’s food scene and cultural life.

The idea of making modern structures coexist with lush gardens, treetop covers, and rainforest-clad wildlife attractions is what makes it so unique. So, when you stroll through Singapore, you can find yourself viewing colossal, classy malls on one side, and then, when you take another street, you’re in the heart of Chinese or Indian culture. Take another street, and you land up hiking and crossing a treetop walkway! If you are planning a visit to Singapore, you should plan to stay there for at least 7 days. Read on and check out this 7 Day Singapore tour package for your reference.

What You Should Know Before Travelling to Singapore

  •  Focus on preparing for a Singapore visa at least 2 months before your travel date. Though the Singapore Embassy will only process your visa application 30 days prior to your departure date, we recommend you start preparing your documents, checking passport validity, booking hotels and flight tickets, and taking photographs as per the Singapore visa requirements. Getting help from a visa agent drastically reduces the stress of applying for a Singapore visa.
  •  A Singapore tourist visa isn’t the only travel formality for gaining access to Singapore for your holiday. You also need to fill out and submit a Singapore Arrival Card 3 days before you arrive. Without this, you may face delays in immigration clearance.
  •  While shopping for outfits for your Singapore holiday, also purchase comfortable, preferably waterproof shoes of good quality. The reason? Singapore will compel you to walk a lot! Few attractions aren’t near MRT stations and public bus stops, and taxis are far more expensive than public transport, thus pushing you to walk for a few kilometres at least. Furthermore, destinations like Singapore Botanical Gardens, Gardens by the Bay, and Singapore Zoo are also sprawling on wide landscapes, compelling you to walk a lot to explore their awe-inspiring sceneries.
  •  Know about Singapore’s customs and rules before you visit the destination. There is a reason that Singapore has the moniker ‘Fine City’ as you will face hefty fines if you break rules as simple as jaywalking or eating/drinking on public transport. Singapore is quite strict regarding customs law as well. So, before you travel there, you need to go through the list of things not allowed to bring into the country. Check the official websites of Singapore immigration to know more about it.
  •  Carry an umbrella, irrespective of what the weather forecast says, even in the summers. Singapore’s proximity to water and its climate together favour humidity, and there are chances of you getting caught in an unexpected drizzle any time of the year. The country has two monsoon seasons as well – December to February and June to September. Always check the best time to visit Singapore before planning your holiday.
  •  Buy EZ-Link cards for smooth travel on MRTs and public buses. Singapore has a wide, seamless connectivity of Mass Rapid Transit rails and public buses that run punctually throughout the main island and Sentosa Island. You can totally rely on them as they are clean, efficient, and you can utilize them with just one card. No need to buy tickets for each journey.

Today, you will find out how much Singapore loves nature and wildlife. Day 6 is all about wildlife encounters in Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a nature conservation area home to five unique wildlife experiences: Bird Paradise Singapore, Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders, and Rainforest Wild ASIA.

However, it’s best to stick to just one wildlife experience, as each park is large and requires visitors to walk a lot to explore, which can get exhausting. We recommend you explore the newest attraction, Rainforest Wild ASIA, or reserve Night Safari Singapore tickets if you love wildlife adventures. For family holidaymakers, either Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, or Bird Paradise are ideal options. Each attraction has many restaurants and food outlets within the park, so you can enjoy your meals as per your preference. Head back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7

On your last day in Singapore, take one last glance at Singapore’s eclectic culture and verdant nature with a visit to:
