Atlantis The Royal Dubai

Dubai revealed the ultra-luxury hotel, Atlantis The Royal,

a new stylish addition to the epic cityscape. Brilliantly built on the Palm Jumeirah (a man-made island), Atlantis The Royal is the most talked-about hotel in the town. NYC’s Kohn Pederson Fox Associates has designed its sleek interiors, while the luxe interior is the brainchild of Paris-based Sybille de Margerie. Its suites and services are a refined luxury – something that is a class apart.

Carrying forward the legacy of Atlantis with even more pride, this hotel has private swimming pools, a 90-meter infinity pool, and a 180-degree restaurant— all are worth every penny spent here.

Dubai hosted a three-day extravaganza, from January 20- 22, to unveil this highly anticipated resort. It was an invite-only VVIP party that witnessed some of the most mesmerizing performances of the decade. The red carpet was glittery with the most exclusive stars from around the globe.

Around a thousand celebrities marked their attendance, which included international names such as Kendall Jenner, Jay Z, Rebel Wilson, Liam Payne, Ellen Pompeo, Bar Rafaeli, and Edward Enninful. The showstopper, Beyoncé, made a triumphant comeback to the stage after a long, five-year hiatus, befitting the resort’s debut.

Here’s everything that happened in, what is said to be, the biggest celebration of the decade.

Lavish Spread of Food

Atlantis is breaking bars with its lip-smacking food from the kitchens of Michelin-starred chefs, including Heston Blumenthal, Jose Andres, and Nobu Matsuhisa. On Day 1, the hotel hosted “Feast of Dreams”, in collaboration with eight reputable celebrity chefs. You can continue experiencing the heights of gastronomical surprise as the world-first Nobu by the Beach opened at Atlantis The Royal.

Exclusive Beyoncé Concert

The US superstar, singer, and dancer Beyoncé set the stage on fire with her boundary-pushing performance. The 60-minute, rocking concert took place in the presence of 300 invited people. It was an extraordinary gala for which the multi-time Grammy award-winner was allegedly paid 22 million euros — no, we aren’t kidding.

Swedish House Mafia Show

Saturday’s event dropped the curtains with the chart-topping songs of Swedish House Mafia. The international DJ trio blew the roof off with their shout-worthy performances.

Dubai saw a lot of fireworks on Saturday. After the concert, the sky was painted with the pyrotechnics and illuminations that unraveled the historic hotel of Dubai, Atlantis The Royal. The guests sat with their hearts in their mouths as they witnessed the glory of Dubai from Cloud 22, Atlantis The Royal’s rooftop infinity lounge.
