1. Haw Par Villa

  • Also known as the Tiger Balm Gardens, Haw Par Villa is an interesting Singapore theme park that’s based on Chinese Mythology.
  • Created by Au brothers, the park contains a collection of bright and beautifully-crafted plaster and concrete figures.
  • Many of them depict the legends of the Monkey God, as he makes his journey to the West. Some of the figures represent the tragic love story of Lady White Snake, the Divine Maiden, who’s a symbol of sacrifice and love. There are figures representing the heroic acts of the fearless hero Wu Song.
  • Don’t miss checking out the grand Nine Dragon Wall and the incredible statues of the Gods of Happiness, Wealth and Longevity and the Laughing Buddha.
  • The piece de resistance is the Ten Courts of Hell which teaches you all about the punishments in store for men and women who commit the sins of sloth, indulgence, gambling, drinking, and adultery.
  • There’s also a roller-coaster boat ride and an interesting multimedia presentation of Chinese myths and legends.

2. Singapore Discovery Centre

  • Singapore Discovery Centre is not strictly a Singapore theme park; it is more of an ‘edutainment’ center.
  • The Discovery Centre is an 88-hectare training ground meant for army, navy and air force officers. The Discovery Centre is located at the SAFTI Military Institute.
  • While on your Singapore holidays, you can take your kids to learn shooting at the Shooting Gallery, where they can try their skills out at a computer-simulated shooting game using real rifles.
  • There’s also a cool Crossfire Paintball game which is fun and ideal for team-building exercises. It’s an educational and yet fun place, where your kids can learn something useful while having fun.

Another exciting entertainment choice is this incredible, outdoor night-time light show that follows a storyline. The story is completed by a display of water jets plus. It’s a wonderful theme show that’s perfect for the entire family to enjoy.

KidZania, Singapore

G-Max Reverse Bungee

If you like the idea of bungee jumping but just don’t have the guts to do it, then try Singapore’s very own Reverse Bungee. You’ll be strapped into the capsule while on the ground and then catapulted 60 meters into the air. It’s incredibly fast, great fun, and very safe. The capsule seats five persons at a time, reaching speeds of 200 km ph and forces of 5G.

GX-5 Extreme Swing

The extreme GX-5 swing falls down from a height of 50 meters and reaches speeds of more than 120kph. You can perform somersaults and flips and bounce up to 8 meters in the air.
