Star-Studded IIFA Awards 2023 is Back in Abu Dhabi With The A-Listers

This most-awaited starry night is the grand celebration of Indian cinema and its art. Sponsored by NEXA and made in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), the glamorous and blockbuster event is under preparation to surprise the audience with an array of blazing performances.

The three-day extravaganza will be full of glitz, glamour, and laughter. IIFA is the highly anticipated South Asian film academy that takes the entertainment levels off the roof. It is the most-viewed Indian award show across the globe boasting a dazzling line-up of superstars.

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor, Salman Khan exclaimed how happy he is to be going back to Abu Dhabi. He further says, “In the last edition, I hosted the awards with Riteish Deshmukh and Maniesh Paul and made everyone present not just laugh, but cry too as I opened my heart to them. This time, I promise to make them stand up and dance with me as we celebrate Indian cinema globally,”

Prior to IIFA Awards, there is an amazing musical saga called IIFA Rocks with some of the Hindi maestros joining the gala.

A curtain-raiser event in Mumbai was held with stars like Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, and other hit faces to begin the countdown of IIFA 2023. The press conference also witnessed Nouf Al-Boushelaibi, Director of Strategic Marketing & Communications at DCT Abu Dhabi, Miral – Taghrid AlSaeed and Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India, and Nishant Pitti, CEO and Co-Founder of Ease My Trip.

This time Dasvi actor Abhishek Bachchan will join the hosting wizard Maniesh Paul to anchor the IIFA Awards.

Ranveer Singh, the brand ambassador of Yas Island, is all geared up to bring the house down with his ‘eclectic’ energy. The eyes are also set on the debut performance of Thank God actress, Rakul Preet Singh. Actors like Varun Dhawan (who is performing third time in IIFA) and Kriti Sanon are also set to get their groove on.

Rapper-singer Badshah, singer-composer Amit Trivedi, singer Sunidhi Chauhan, and electronic music producer Nucleya are ready to take the internet by storm as they will go live on IIFA Rocks. This event will be hosted by K3G Director Karan Johar and Director-Choreographer Farah Khan. It is hence going to be effortlessly hilarious as well as soulful.

Nominations for IIFA Awards have been rolled out and global voting is going on.
