The Batu Temple and Cave

The History Of Batu Caves

Dating back to 400 million years, Batu Caves is located 13 kilometers to the north of Kuala Lumpur. The 400 meters long and 100 meters high caves were discovered in 1872 but became popular after the Indian trader Thamboosamy Pillai saw the cave and installed a statue of Lord Murugan in it in the year 1890. 3. Top station point

As the name suggests, the Top station point is the place located at the highest altitude in Munnar. In fact, there’s hardly a day when the place is without fog and experiences a clear sky.
